چکیده
Background & Objectives: Hepatic fibrosis is the extreme extracellular matrix buildup of collagen due to chronic liver disorders. Progressive results in cirrhosis and hepatic failure. Nilotinib considered a 2nd generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor, which exhibited antifibrotic efficacy. Stem cells release cytokines growth factors paracrine-mediated anti-inflammatory effects vitro vivo. Hence, stem conditioned medium (SC-CM) may have an role. This study designed explain association between oxidative stress markers hydroxyproline content fibrosis. Methods: Sixty male wistar rats were distributed into six major groups; control group, CCl4 Free media (CCl4 Nilotinib) exosomes) group. They had intraperitoneal injection with for nine weeks treatments Nilotinib, cell exosomes (extracted from Liver mesenchymal cells), combined treatment 5th week 9th intoxication. Oxidative parameters (e.g. MDA, SOD, GSH, CAT, NO, NOS) estimated each Results: showed significant positive correlation Hydroxyproline NO NOS. Also, there negative SOD CAT. Conclusion: There And

Thymoquinone restores liver fibrosis and improves oxidative stress status in a lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammation model in rats
Objective: Liver fibrosis is the primary sign of chronic liver injury induced by various causes. Thymoquinone (TQ) is the major ingredient of Nigella sativa with several beneficial effects on the body. In the present study, we aimed to investigate the effect of TQ on liver fibrosis in a lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammation in male rats. Materials and methods: Fifty male Wistar rats wer...
متن کاملPrevention of liver steatosis through fish oil supplementation: correlation of oxidative stress with insulin resistance and liver fatty acid content.
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is triggered by a nutritional-metabolic alteration characterized by triacylglicerides acumulation, insulin resistance (IR), oxidative stress and depletion of polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA). The n-3 PUFA, such as eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and docosahexaenoic (DHA) acids, would be hepatoprotective against the development of NAFLD by stimulating lipolysis ...
متن کاملOxidative Stress and Skin Fibrosis
Fibrosis is defined as increased fibroblast proliferation and deposition of extracellular matrix components with potential clinical ramifications including organ dysfunction and failure. Fibrosis is a characteristic finding of various skin diseases which can have life-threatening consequences. These implications call for research into this topic as only a few treatments targeting fibrosis are a...
متن کاملCorrelation between Oxidative Stress, Nutrition, and Cancer Initiation
Inadequate or excessive nutrient consumption leads to oxidative stress, which may disrupt oxidative homeostasis, activate a cascade of molecular pathways, and alter the metabolic status of various tissues. Several foods and consumption patterns have been associated with various cancers and approximately 30-35% of the cancer cases are correlated with overnutrition or malnutrition. However, sever...
متن کاملCorrelation between Systemic Oxidative Stress and Intraocular Pressure Level
BACKGROUND The involvement of local and systemic oxidative stress in intraocular pressure (IOP) elevation and optic nerve damage has been hypothesized in the pathogenesis of glaucoma. We reported previously that the level of systemic antioxidative capacity is lower in patients with open-angle glaucoma than controls without glaucoma. Here, we assessed the correlation between IOP and systemic lev...
